BRAD D. HARDY
Brad D. Hardy, who is Of Counsel to LUTHI & VOYLES, LLC, also practices law at B Hardy Law LLC, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Brad has over 35 years of experience in law and banking. Most recently, Brad was the President and a Director of a small startup bank located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Previously he worked for Wells Fargo Bank, in its legal department focusing on compliance and risk management and general regulatory matters, and he also served as General Counsel and CFO as well as a member of the Management Committee of First Security Corporation and First Security Bank headquartered in Utah. Brad started his law practice with Ray, Quinney & Nebeker, a Salt Lake City based corporate law firm, specializing in bank regulation, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.
Brad continues as a Director of NHB Holdings, Inc., a bank holding company and its bank, Proficio Bank located in Salt Lake City.
Brad is a graduate of the University of Utah (B.S., Business Management (1974); M.B.A. (1975); and J.D. (1978). He is admitted to the Wyoming and Utah Bars.
RANDALL B. LUTHI
Randall B. Luthi, a founding Member of LUTHI & VOYLES, LLC, is currently Of Counsel to the firm. Since 2010, Randall has been President of the National Ocean Industries Association, in Washington, DC, where he advocates for the development of our country’s offshore energy resources. An attorney and rancher from Freedom, Wyoming and a former Speaker of the Wyoming House of Representatives, Randall has an impressive background in government service. He was the Director of the Minerals Management Service within the Department of the Interior from July 2007 through January 2009, and immediately prior thereto, was the Deputy Director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, also within the Department of the Interior. Prior to that, Randall was an intern for then Congressman Dick Cheney, a legislative assistant for then Senator Alan K. Simpson, and an attorney in the Solicitor’s Office at the Department of the Interior. Randall was also Senior Counselor for Environmental Regulations at the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration in the Department of Commerce from 1990 to 1993.
Randall graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1979, with a B.S. in Administration of Justice, and earned a J.D. from the University of Wyoming in 1982. Randall is admitted to the Wyoming and District of Columbia Bars.
M. KEVIN VOYLES
M. Kevin Voyles, Managing Member of LUTHI & VOYLES, LLC, founded the firm in 2000. Prior to moving to Wyoming, Kevin was an attorney for the U.S. Department of the Interior, in Washington, DC, first in the Office of the Secretary, and later, in the Office of the Solicitor. Kevin’s legal work helped keep the banks of the Potomac River open to public access in Georgetown and in Old Town Alexandria and preserved many acres of Civil War battlefields that were threatened by development. Kevin also helped with the establishment of several national memorials in Washington, DC, including the Vietnam, Korean, World War II, and FDR Memorials.
Kevin is Town Counsel for the Town of Thayne and the Town of Star Valley Ranch. He is on the board of the Wyoming Stock Growers Land Trust, and is also volunteer legal counsel for the Star Valley Arts Council and the Thayne Volunteer Fire Department. Kevin previously served on the board of The Turning Point, Lincoln County’s domestic violence task force, and for a decade, was volunteer Co-Counsel of the Wyoming Republican Party.
Kevin is a graduate of Brown University (A.B., Political Science, magna cum laude, 1976) and Case Western Reserve University (J.D., 1979). He is admitted to practice law in Wyoming and in the District of Columbia.
